Jacob Martin - Senior Pastor
is a man that many call, “An anointed breath of fresh air to the
Body of Christ”. His only heartbeat is to see a new manifestation
of the Holy Spirit birthed into this present day generation
through the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. His
transparent and bold message of the life-changing power of Christ
Jesus is producing fruit everywhere he goes. 

Pastor Jacob was born and raised in the Virginia Beach area to Dr. Joseph and Kathy
Martin. After graduating from high school he had a supernatural encounter with the Holy
Spirit during a crusade in Cape Town, South Africa. That night Pastor Jacob was called into
the ministry. Upon arriving home he immediately enrolled at Zion Bible Institute. After
graduation he and his beautiful wife Heather moved to Louisville, Kentucky to serve on the
pastoral staff of Evangel World Prayer Center under Dr. Bob Rodgers. And in the year 2000
while on a 21 day fast the Holy Spirit instructed him to return home and that he would be
enabled to build a church that would touch the heart of Hampton Roads. 

Several years later Pastor Jacob moved back to Virginia Beach with his wife Heather and
their two beautiful daughters Morgan and Madison and their newest additon Judah to found the Hope Center.

Heather Martin - Co-Pastor/Worship Director
is a mighty woman of God, a loving wife, a passionate mother and a anointed vessel to teach
the Word of God along side her husband.

Heather was born and raised in Windam, CT and was greatly involed in the Assemly of God
Southern New England District Fine Arts Program. She was greatly used by the Lord through
her voice as a young teenager. Through the years she continued to grow, and so did the
many awards she received for outstanding vocal performances. Heather also began to
become very aware of the fact that the Lord’s hand was resting heavily upon her life. After
graduating from high school she enrolled at Zion Bible College in Barrington, RI. While at
Zion she met and fell in-love with her soon-to-be husband Jacob Martin. The rest is history.

Heather is currently the Worship Director at the Hope Center and the head of the Women’s
Ministry.
