HONOR
I Peter 3:7
"Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with [them] according to knowledge, giving honor unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered."
What a great word that is so poorly understood in our culture or marriage today. That word honor means "The hounor which belongs to or shown to one based on the price that is fixed to it". That is powerful when you meditate on the fact that we are commanded to love our spouses as Christ loved the church. His love carries a pricetag of "PRICELESS". Jesus stopped at nothing to show his love to us by honoring us according to the value He places upon us. We must not stop short of doing the same in our marriages. Honor each other and love each other by the price tag that has been placed upon you, "PRICELESS".
Honor is not something you base on feelings or seasons, it's a reality that you live in on a daily basis. When you look at your spouse envision that "PRICELESS" pricetag and see what the Father sees.
